Sewing and patterning projects
For the same Medieval Reenacting event, I designed, patterned and sewed both a lined liripipe hood, and a reversible, two colored short cape. Both of them were made based in historical patterns from the 14th century. The hood was made of high quality wool and cotton fabric, with pewter buttons and was designed to be a versatile accesory, fit to be worn in a variety of ways, including as a chaperon, a type of hat common in the 14th century, .The cape was made with cotton-silk and the fitting brooch of brass with inlaid artificial pearls.
